Burford Garden Centre – A wonderful day out

I’ve got to that age where I’m now excited about going to garden centres. I went to Burford Garden Centre over the bank holiday and was not disappointed. The first thing which captured my attention was the food hall, for two reasons: 1) Beautifully styled visual merchandising and 2) Marvellous product ranges with bold eclectic packaging

This trend seemed to flow through the entire store. Each display was theatrical, using large unique props to show off the products. One of my favourites was an actual vintage van, used to merchandise picnic rugs.

All the products are of the highest quality, and the ranges are all really inspirational, I could have stayed in the gifting department for hours.

The Garden Centre part had the same approach as the gifting department, with inspirational displays.

The day was topped off by tea and cakes in the restaurant, the atmosphere had a down-to-earth, homey feel and the cakes looked and tasted home made.

My nephew also really enjoyed the day too.
