In recent years the Hunter brand has gone from strength to strength. Following the revival of the wellington boot, now a fashion icon for fashionable festival goers. I’ve seen the brand extend into other products such as bags, jackets and sandals, and have been in all the fashion magazines.
Hunter opened up their flagship store on Regent street, London in the autumn last year to showcasing their SS15 collection.
I got opportunity to visit the store this month, the windows really grab you, with bold colourful kaleidoscope of pattern as a backdrop to the mannequins.
The store itself takes a modern retail twist on a agricultural cues, with use of corrugated metal sheets, backlit hedges and bright stone walls. Some of the products displays are on reflective plastic which really complement the product.
The kids section was really simple and bold, really embracing the iconic Hunter red. The lift experience was really fun with astroturf walls and bird noises to set an artificial outside scene.
